I have 1 little one that is my pride and joy, I recently gave up work to become a child minder so I could spend more quality time with him. Before I went back to work he slept really well, and its been a year of bad sleeping, my partner is really supportive, but we just want to get some sleep now and hopefully have an even happier toddler for it. We would like to start thinking about a second child but cant imagine it when the 1st isnt sleeping!

Still waking in the night

My son Harry is 23 months and slept well til at 11 months I went back to work. He settles himself to sleep for naps and when put down at night time. For the last year he generally wakes between 2 - 12 times a night, most of the time all he needed is a quick cuddle, put back down and he would fall back to sleep. 3 months ago he started playing up going to sleep as well, so with help from The baby sleep system, I made slight changes to his routine, and used controlled crying for him to go to sleep, and he will fall asleep no problem on his own again. He is not waking through the night quite as much, and we have had the odd night where he has slept through, although he is still generally waking 2 - 4 times a night, and I cant help my reaction to go straight in and pick him up.
I would really appreciate advice how to deal with this and get him to sleep through .
Many thanks
