How do I get my toddler to stay asleep in her bed all night

My 2 and a half year old has just started sleeping in her own bed. She still has a bottle of milk before bed (bottles are going when she's 3). She is consistently waking at 1.30 to 2.00 am everynight. She either wakes crying or gets up and comes into my bedroom. When she wakes I get her out of bed, put her on the toilet and place her back in her bed. She generally goes back to sleep within 20 minutes if I lay with her. She screams the place down and asks for a bottle everynight when she wakes. She's not had a bottle in the night for a very long time so I was keen to break this habit. She does sleep through some of the time but I pray for consistent sleep now. She is potty trained in the day, but I still put a pull up on her of a night. Some nights she is dry, others she is wet. If she wakes and she's wet I change her. I've read the book but I am not sure how to get round the keeping her clean at night and getting her to sleep through. I am willing to try anything. When she was in the cot I did controlled crying and it worked - well she slept through most nights. Please help!!!

Yippee!!Well I am pleased to report that my daughter went to bed at 7 and got up an 6.30 with no wakings in the night or getting out of her bed. Hope it wasn't a fluke. Hopefully she'll do the same tonight. Lots of praise for her this morning!
