Change of diet keeping him awake?

Hi there. We've just about solved most of our problems, but there;s a new one now: we recently started introducing protein (pureed chicken) into his diet, and found that he cries (without really waking up) nearly every hour during the night. Not for long, and a shushing usually calms him, but it's extremely disrupted sleep for all of us. (By the way, we recently posted a similar query, but it turned out his screaming-without-waking-up in that case was the onset of a cold.) We're fairly sure the unsettled sleep is due to his digestive system keeping him up - if that's the case, how long can we expect to put up with the disruption?

A second question: he seems to be waking earlier and napping longer in the day (up at 5.15am the last two days and napping nearly five hours (2.5hrs morning, 2hrs+ lunch). Should we be worried about this, or putting it down to the diet too? Chris
