night waking

Hi, i am a first time mom to a little boy who is 6 half months old i join the site last week from tips i have already seen some improvement and brought the book which arrive today and have already read through this.
my little boy has a rarely good routine wake up at 7 full bottle of milk (8oz) (just moved him to the follow on milk) solid breakfast sometimes made with his milk sometime a mid-morning feed he doesnt always want this 12 dinner with yougart which is uusally a jar if we are out and about the 3pm mid afternnon milk feed (6oz) then 5.30 tea (usually mash our own food then desert then 6 -6-15 bath change read then 7pm 8oz milk feed then his going down awake his his cot in his own room he does have a dummy which im rarely sure is the problem. i previsouly did a dream feed but this didnt make much difference and the another night he didnt want it so i thorugh i wudnt do the next few night and see what happens but my little boy stills seems to be awaking up round 12 n 3 in the night, i put his dummy back in and most of the time he'll just go back to sleep. my question his do u think i should still give the dream feed at 10.30? also he wasnt having good naps (40 mins at time) therefore cranky all day) but since i came on the forum i have took a few tips and he seems to be napping alot better but in the morning on monday he napp from 10-12 i had to wake him for his dinner and again to day from 9.45 i had to wake him up at 11 shud i be waking him up froms naps? (never had to do this before) he:ll nap in the afternoon but this one seems shorter and more of a stuggle to settle also how much solid is enough so u know they dont need a feed in the night if there are waking? do u think if i ditch the dummy he will be sleep all the way through and not wake untill morning? he went through a major growth spurt couple of weeks ago consistly eating and drinking milk but this seems to have settle down now i go back to work in april so wud love him to sleep through. thanks
