Nap time Problems
Hi,
My daughter is 21 weeks old and is just over the 75th percentile for her weight and is exclusively breastfed and is fed every four hours during the day. I have been following the pupdcd method for just over a week and we have had success in the evenings instead of her screaming the whole evening she has started going to sleep in 10 minutes. I am then dream feeding her around 10pm and she wakes around 2am for a half hour feed and then tends to sleep through till 7ish. Instead of waking up frequently so that is fantastic.
We have been working on the naps with pupdcd method but having no success at all. She just screams and screams for an hour and then I stop as it is just too much. I know that she is tired as she is yawning, pulling on her ears and rubbing her eyes but she just refuses to nap. She just waits until I feed her next and sleeps and feeds although I try and keep her awake and then put her down. I then try and move her to the cot but she then just screams and screams again and so she is just not napping. I am wandering what I am doing wrong and what I need to do to get her to start napping.
Thanks
Tania
