How do I encourage my daughter to take 1 nap per day for longer?
For a while now Amelie has been fighting an afternoon nap in her cot although will sometimes drop off in the car/buggy/high chair for 30-60 mins or will sometimes go without the afternoon nap completely leaving her fractious. I will often put her to bed half an hour earlier if this is the case (6.30pm).
She is still having her morning nap which is now at 10.30am but only for an hour, hence why she still needs a nap in the afternoon.
How do I encourage her to drop to one nap a day and to take it for longer?
Many thanks,
Lindsey
