At a loss what to do and almost at breaking point, please help!
I am mum to a lovely little boy who will be 1 in 3 weeks. He has never slept through or anything like near it. After over a year without sleep I truely am at the end of the line and desperate for some change to happen soon. My little one can wake anything up to 10 times a night but the average at the moment is 3. He has been exclusivey BF but in the past 6 weeks we have introduced cows milk and a little formular to try and 'fill him up'. He goes to sleep at 7.30, I used to nurse him to sleep but now he will go down if my partner or I lay at the end of the bed and he can see us, whilst we play music, this takes about 20 mins usually, He then always wakes at 11 for a DF then always 3 for BF then 6 for morning feed. Last night he also woke at 2 and 5. I don't think he is hungry so last night refused to feed him at 2 thinking that he might give up and go to sleep, he just screemed for the whole hour until at 3.10 I BF him. Please can anyone advice, we feel we should drop this 3 feed but how? I've tried to reduce it by a minute over a few nights but then he just wakes an hour later and repeats the process. I'm almost ready just ignore the whole thing.
