2nd child (14 months) - Is it time to reduce her nap from two to one?
This is asking for help for my 14 months old girl (baby sister of Thomas) who been napping in her cot since she was born. Last few months she been having 2 naps - one at 8.45am for about an hour or 2 and then 2nd nap at 12.30pm again either one or two hours nap.
However since Thursday, she would have her morning nap between 1 hr 15 mins to 2 hours but when it come to lunch time nap she would only sleep 15 mins. I try put her down 30 mins later or an hour but she refuse to sleep or just lie there and moan after 10 mins. Is she trying to tell us now it time she only needs one nap a day even tho she seems tired after her breakfast? I would rather she sleep at lunch time which same time as my 2 and half year old boy have his nap!
Just wondering how I get my little girl to start to get into a habit of having just one nap a day at lunch time without getting overtired or fussy eating her lunch because she tired? It been happening since Thurs and as she only sleep 15 mins at lunch, then she gets really grumpy/tired around 3.30 or 4pm and feel we can't let her have a nap if she goes to bed at 7pm.
