How can I get my baby to nap in the daytime, in his cot at home?

My 6.5 month old won't nap at home in his cot. and on the rare occasions I do get him to sleep its a real battle and he sleeps for 15/20 mins max.

He will sleep in the car or in push chair during the day though.

He goes down very well at night after a bath, bottle, story, lights out twinkle twinkle little star, into sleep suit and bed! He goes down awake and very rarely even makes a sound.

He's always been hard to settle in the daytime but eventually would sleep -sometimes for 30 mins and sometimes for 2 hours! But in the past month after me being out and about a lot he just won't nap at home! I've been trying to be strict for a week now but to no avail.

Rough routine below:

6.30 awake
7am Bottle
8am Breakfast
8.30/9am he starts to show sleepy signs so I cuddle him a bit, and calmly put him down for a nap.
11.30/12 Lunch
Again, he then starts to get tired and I calm him and put him down.
3 or 4pm depending on his sleep Bottle
5.30 Tea
6.30 Bath and bedtime routine begins.
7.15/30 In bed, drifting off to sleep.

PLEASE HELP!

Many thanks!
