Daytime napping -at the end of my tether :-(
My daughter is 4 months old as is a nightmare when it comes to sleeping in the daytime!
She sleeps fine at night and goes down awake with the dummy and I follow the same routine every night should she wake (which is becoming less and less) and then has a feed at about 5ish (dream feeding did not work)!
The daytimes are something else and she will sleep for anything from 1 minute to 20 minutes, if I'm lucky 40 at a push! Unless of course I walk her in the pushchair for 30 mins at get her through the first 20 mins and then she'll sleep for 2 hours!
As she is getting bigger she is needed a good 90 min nap / 2 sleep cycles and I just don't know what to do?
I had a maternity nurse for 7 wks and she didn't know what to do either, I've also followed the baby whisperers advice and stayed in the room (when putting her in cot) and felt the 20 min jolt but there is nothing I've been able to do to keep her asleep - she's wide awake at this point - please help as I'm pulling my hair out :-( ?
