Hi,

I'm an old BSA user back again with by second son.

Three years ago my son Thomas was addicted to his soother and Wendy and the team helped me ditch it and ever since he has slept like a total champ.

My second son John was born six weeks early and slept really well in the early days (don't they all!) I just want some help with his routine . He is such a good baby I'm really lucky.

Night waking - doesn't want milk!

Hi there,

With the help of Wendy, my nearly five month old goes down to sleep prop free and on his own for every sleep. In the space of a week we went from him waking every hour to one night waking which for his age I thought was fair enough.

He slept through the night for the first time two nights ago and although we were accepting of it being a fluke it told us that he could do it. Last night he woke ban on 3.20 (four hours since his dreamfeed). We left him fuss until 4 am at which time he was really crying. He was frantically sucking his hands so we felt a bit guilty so I got up to feed him - but he didn't want the bottle!! I offered it twice and finally put him down at 4.15 and he sniffles off to sleep.

He had only taken a small amount at dreamfeed (3.5oz) but had tanked up well in the day, so I wasn't surprised he didn't really want it.

As we had used PUPDCD to get him to sleep and to get him to one night waking, should we do this to stop him waking in the night altogether and if so how long do you think it would take for him to get it? I'm nervous as we have our 3yr old in the next room.

He had two unusually long naps in the day could that be causing the waking?
