still not sleeping through

Hi again,

I have now managed to get rid of the dummy, it's been 3 weeks since we took it away and used controlled crying.

I now have 2 issues with Isaac's sleep.

1. He still sometimes cries for up to an hour at bedtime and it is increasingly difficult to get him to nap during the day

2. He still wakes up to 2 times during the night. He did manage 2 nights on the run where he only woke at 3am for a feed but it has reverted back to 12.30 and 5.30

We don't give him a dream feed as we found he was waking up at 10.30 / 11 ready for it so we just waited for him to wake which got later and later. We thought that when he first didn't wake until 3.30 that we were getting somewhere but now its back to twice a night.

I have tried offering him water but that doesn't satisfy him or help him re-settle.

At each waking he drinks between 5 and 7 oz depending on how much we offer him.

So, where do I go from here to help him nap better and help him sleep through?

thanks
