Hi Wendy and Gang!
Firstly, thanks for helping me in the past with my 1st sons sleeping, he now sleeps 7.30 till 7am (most nights!) and loves his bed.
My 2nd son Jacob is BF on demand and has no routine except a bedtime routine!
He has started cat napping 30-45 mins and fighting these.
He goes to bed at 7.30, by this time he is exhausted and falls asleep on the breast, i try to wake him which sometimes works. He wakes at various times through the night, sometimes sleeps till 2am then again at 6am sometimes ist 1-2 hourly from midnight.
I used PUPD with Ollie and i've been using this for Jacobs 1st nap of the day, which works, by his 2nd nap he's overtired and difficult to settle but will eventually with PUPD, his nap at teatime is very difficult as he's mega overtired.
Where shoudl i start?
I'd like help implimenting a daily routine, as he feeds ALL the time, which i'm not against but i don't think it helps his sleeping.

	The last 2 nights have seen Jacob settle at 8pm, yesterday i did PUPD for 20 mins and tonight was much the same. I could hear him yawning and coughing while lying down tonight so i'm happy that he was fully awake and settled himself. I've also managed to get him down for his 1st nap of the day using PUPD for 2 days in a row, and he also settled himself in his bouncy chair today! so those things are really positive. I'm going to continue concentrating on bedtime and 1 nap a day for the meantime. I'd like some help with his routine if thats ok. its really when/ how many naps for him to have. Because he only cat naps, i aim for 4, 2 in the morning and 2 in the afternoon. Does this sound reasonable? Thanks very much. reply by sleepy9408 - 9 months ago
